And this is Kate, this girl's older sister. She is 6 now (and almost 6 in the picture). They're the daughters of friends of mine.

She and her sister (see link) love bugs. Every time I'm over there, they're always in the back- or frontyard playing with moths or caterpillars or these red, hard-shelled insects they call "stinkbugs" (even though they're not stinkbugs, haha). They're always diggin' around in the dirt and grass. They don't mind it, and that is why they're awesome. And they're VERY polite without even being reminded to be polite.

Kate here was getting bored watching one of her neighbors test out a "go-kart" he built from scratch (literally, it was put together with plywood, random wheels, 2x4s, and powered by the motor of a chainsaw that was duct-taped to the back of it--chain removed, of course).
